went to bed early tonight but hella anxious, woke up after midnight from this really strange dream & wrote & recorded this song

Woke up from a dream where I was screaming at my mom
I was working on the floor of her patio furniture store
& I was pacing with these glass boards
With nowhere to set em
There were too many things around
& someone else was working where I wanted to be
& so the dream did that thing where all the sudden I was walking the streets of my middle school which actually is just down the street from where I currently live
& I was passing these people, turned out to be this dude
Who beat me for homecoming king freshman year & now he plays in the nfl
I said hey & he said nothing
I said hey & he said nothing
So in the dream I started screaming, right at my mom
I said do you know what has happened, do you know where I belong
It’s not working at the god damn mother fucking place
In real life that same kid walked by the restaurant that I serve at the other day
Sometimes I just hate my life & the place where I am
I’m supposed to be real positive & I’m sorry to all my Stan’s
It’s just I don’t know how to fix it
To be honest sometimes I really feel like I should quit this
Today I saw like no less than 25 other people on Instagram chasing this same strange life
& I thought holy shit this is it
He was right, I’m not made for it
Tony texted me
He said Chris you should get some sleep
I thought it was funny but he’s honestly right
He said I notice you were awake at 2am last night
& your brain needs the time to make brains cells & rest & rewind
Cus your just getting way too ahead of yourself tonight
You gotta get a hold of yourself tonight
So yeah I just woke up from this dream
Now it’s like 12:30
I tried to listen to Tony
& go to bed at 9
I was real tired but it’s probably cus I am real sad
That would explain why I screamed at my mom in the dream I had
